Qualification of Pharmaceutical HVAC Systems - Practical Workshop

About this course

By attending this short workshop the delegate will be exposed to learning materials and take part in practical problem solving exercises that will facilitate understanding of the GMP regulations governing biopharmaceutical as well as pharmaceutical HVAC and Utilities as well as how to approach their qualification.

Discussion and Working Groups

A significant proportion of the course time will be devoted to group work, where delegates have the opportunity, through case studies, to put theory into practice.

Additionally, discussion periods, including a course tutor panel session, provide delegates with an opportunity to obtain answers to their specific questions and concerns.

Course outline

Part 1: HVAC for Biopharmaceutical Facilities

• Overview of HVAC systems for biopharmaceutical operations and their role
• Maintenance of appropriate room classifications
  • Clean rooms
  • Non-sterile production areas
  • Non-sterile packaging areas
• Regulations applicable and practical considerations – emphasis on commissioning
• Buzz Group – HVAC qualification approaches

Part 2: Clean Utilities for Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical Facilities

• Points to consider for:
  • Metrology and calibration
  • Commissioning and qualification of each system are reviewed

The courses will be held in the ultra modern Upper Glen Hove meeting room which can comfortably seat 80 persons. Catering

During the course, mid-morning tea plus snacks will be served at approximately 10.00 with afternoon tea served at 15.00. At lunchtime you can enjoy an appetising finger buffet served in the foyer.

After each day’s activities a closed bar service will be available, chargeable to your account where relevant.
