A pharmacist by training, Kate gained her degree in Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy, University of London and her subsequent registration training year at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, Smithfield, London prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry in manufacturing.

Kate has many years experience in secondary pharmaceuticals manufacturing in a variety of roles in manufacturing line management ranging from small volume parenterals, to tablets, creams, ointments, liquids, packaging, warehousing, distribution and raw materials dispensary.

She has now specialised in the validation of computerised systems, following several years developing, implementing and validating systems in support of a number of pharmaceutical functions.

Since joining David Begg Associates in 2001, Kate has specialised in providing auditing, consultancy and training to pharmaceuticals manufacturers who want to improve their understanding of and compliance with the regulations for computerised systems supporting GxP functions.

When not at work, Kate enjoys down-hill skiing, tennis and cooking.
