Hans has a PhD in Biochemistry/Microbiology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and an MBA in General Management from Boston University/GBSA.
He has over 35 years of operational experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetic industry, mainly in the fields of R&D, Quality Assurance, GMP and ISO compliance and all aspects of manufacturing. He spent 30 years with J&J in numerous senior management positions, including VP, QA/QP and Global VP, Formulation Development for marketed products. Hans also chaired a number of J&J worldwide councils and was responsible for quality issues and validation master planning for new plants.
