John has over 25 years of extensive practical experience in GMP compliance, primarily for the manufacture of biologics and biopharmaceuticals. He was the former Head of Quality Assurance at Synergen (Amgen) where he gained hands-on experience in implementation of quality systems, qualification of facility/equipment, and development/validation of processes at two multi-product clinical facilities.

John has been consulting and training in GMP compliance worldwide for over 16 years, specializing in compliance auditing, quality system improvement and process validation for biopharmaceutical APIs. He has also written numerous regulatory submissions and provided quality management support as well as contract manufacturer oversight for both clinical and market products. John has lectured and published on numerous topics in GMP compliance and is actively involved with ISPE and PDA, including active committee memberships in process validation as well as in reprocessing of proteins.

John is a family guy who enjoys the mountains of Colorado for skiing, biking and the pleasure of their beauty.
