Martyn is a Microbiologist who has worked in the industry for nearly forty years, five of those as a Senior Inspector and Regional Manager with the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). He had responsibility for inspection of all kinds of aseptic and sterile products, biological product and blood product establishments, as well as APIs and non-sterile dosage forms including liquids, semi-solid and solid dosage forms. Prior to joining the MHRA, Martyn worked in and managed a vaccine operation as well as serving as an internal audit manager. Since leaving the MHRA, he has worked in industry in sterile operations projects, and more recently as a consultant.
With NSF-DBA Martyn has been involved with sterile facility auditing and consultancy support for inspection readiness, and training in auditing and inspections skills.
