Mr Paul Cummings

Paul Cummings is a European Professional Biologist, with a BSc(Hons) in Applied Biology, and a Fellow of the Society of Biology.

He started his career working in hospital pharmacy in the UK, swiftly moving into the pharmaceutical industry where he has gained nearly 30 years’ experience in pharmaceutical R&D specialising in parenteral product development in all its guises from product formulation development to due diligence activities, specialist auditing of parenteral facilities to cGMP and design of parenteral manufacturing facilities. He has a proven track record for teaching, mentoring and coaching, with many years’ managerial experience at multiple levels.

Paul has been involved in the application of QbD to product development and has expertise in pharmaceutical radiation safety, ADME study design and implementation. He has authored many regulatory submissions for European and FDA agencies throughout his career, so is well versed in the current requirements.

During his time in the industry, Paul has worked on sites in Europe, America, Japan and Australia and has a practical approach to each market’s requirements. When not travelling the world on business, Paul’s home is in Cambridge, UK, with his wife and three daughters.
